In September 2010, heavy rain caused major flooding across most of the country. The worst flooding affected towns and villages by the river Krka and in the Ljubljana marshes. The floods caused 250 mio eur of damage. (Photos from Krško, Krška vas, Kostanjevica na Krki and the Ljubljana marshes)
